Welcome to the Verdun Attrition Tourney

The Verdun Attrition Tourney is a competitive Verdun tournament in a novel format. Players sign up individually, and are selected by team captains, who have volunteered at sing up, into teams of up to 10 players (all players will be assigned teams).

On the 14th of April, the teams will play a series of 6v6 attrition games. The tournament itself consisting of a group stage, semi finals, finals and a bronze match.

Over 60 % merely joined the Verdun Attrition Tourney EU Steam Group, but never acually signed up for the tournament. "If only more people would go to This Forum Thread right away and sign up, that would make the world a better place." says Xifos, concerned Tournament Organizer, after news reached him this Friday that players may have forgotten to sign up. "We don't want people to get a rude awakening on tournament day." he adds.

Preliminary Schedule

The Organizing Committee has dediced on the following schedule:

Registration is open until the 23:rd of March
Teams are picked on the 24th of March. Instructions will be issued by tournament officials.
The tournament is held on Saturday the 14th of April.
The Group Stage will start at 5:30 PM CET.
Group stage matches will be played in parallel, with 5 minute breaks between matches.
The Group Stage is scheduled to end at 7 PM CET.
The Finals Stage is scheduled to begin at 9 PM CET.
The Semi Finals will be played in parallel, and the Grand Final, and the Bronze match will be played in parallel.
The Finals Stage is scheduled to end at 10 PM CET.
