The Ligne Vauban is the fortification system designed to protect France from potential enemies of the Republic, specifically Germany. A complex and advanced system of fortifications, and equipped with heavy artillery, they mark the first line of defense for the Nation against an attack by it's foes. Equipped with heavy artillery, AA batteries, lines of fortification, anti-tank guns, barbed wire, outposts, guard posts, rail lines, and logistics supplies, the line is a very hard target to take.
