UGD2 - Dota 2 at the University of Guelph

What is this?

This is a Steam group dedicated to students past or present of the University of Guelph in Ontario who play Dota 2, regardless of skill level.

Can I make a team here?

Go for it. In the Fall of 2012 a few of us competed in the Collegiate Dota 2 League, and there are probably a few members who would be interested in joining another team.

Is there an in-game Guild?

You bet. Its abbreviation is UGD2, and any member can let you in, just send someone a message.

Welcome!

After a post or two on Reddit today, we added 7 new members to our little group, so welcome to everyone.

If you haven't already, add some of the other members to your list and let's get playing some Dota.

Weekly Scrims(?)

We're considering setting up a weekly or bi-weekly night for an inhouse scrim, so if ten people are interested we could get that going. I don't think individual skill level would be much of an issue so long as we rely on Dota's balancing option.

Anyone else here possibly interested in getting U of G, Dota 2 jackets? I have connections, and even though there is no official team I think it would look pretty sweet.
