And besides the point of that, even if what he says is true he should have a responsibility to tell us when he's gone, so in some aspect his demotion is his own fault. Not entirely but partly.

And no Metroid, this is not directed at you. This is a general post for any player.

Anyway, if you have a problem with a rule or a moderator, DO NOT ARGUE WITH THE MODS. You could be right, you could be wrong. But ultimately you could be wasting the moderators' time. You are not the only player, let alone the only player with a problem. If you have an issue with a rule or a moderator, put it on the forums like Metroid did, that was a very good move on his part. Don't get yourself banned or kicked because the mod doesn't have time for you. It will be better for you to either shut up or just kiss the moderators' ass for the time being. Things will work out better if you actually THINK ahead of time and not just in the moment. But chances are you don't have legitimate claim so that's why it's better posted here when staff are reading over shit in their spare time and not when they are on duty.

Ok I watched the video all the way through and here are my thoughts:
You are right about multiple stradegies to counter spawn camping. But lots of people just whine at us constantly about spawn campers. So we try to avoid these sort of distractions by trying to prevent spawn camping altogether. Me personally am only enforcing the rules the owner has set. And yes, they could use some serious tweaking. Secondly, spawn baiting, I don't like it personally, and I think using the spawn doors to escape being killed or camping by them is very shitty. But I don't think using the doors should be considered spawn baiting, I personally would rather just get rid of them but what can I do? Anyway The doors really aren't spawn baiting because any player can use them vs. the spawn areas only the respecting team can use. It's such a small thing and it shouldn't be a rule but other moderators and even the owner made it effective. Thirdly, staff mentality, yeah some of us (even me at times) can get very arrogant about our ranking and power. I try not to but sometimes I get moody, this isn't an excuse I'm just saying the reason. As is it stated, we are to warn once and then kick then ban for most rules broken. But I think this could be changed, it's a little scary to think "shit, if I mess up again I'm going to get kicked!". But, sometimes we have to just be very pushy about things because there are so many people to attend to and keep in line. We have to get a little arrogant or people might not take us seriously. And the thing about "don't argue with mods" this has legitimate claim. We really sometimes dont have time for every little player who wants to make himself innocent whether he deserves it or not. I do think we should make time for this, but not during active on-duty time when we need to be paying attention to shit. This would be a good example. But not some in-game arguement that more likely than not is just a waste of the staff's time. Unfortunately discipline is hard because there's not much the owner can do between removing a feature entirely for everyone or just demoting the staff member. I think you made some good points Metroid, but I also think you should consider what I'm saying here as well. I hope this issue can be resolved and not just blow over and someone being branded as an asshole.
