Candidate personal history: Born in 1750, I was raised in Richmond, Virginia. I would hunt with my father in the woods outside of Richmond. 1776, I was 16 years of age, I had heard of the attrocities commited by the british upon the American people. I took up arms and joined the Continental army to repulse the British threat. I took a musketball to the knee at the battle of Yorktown in 1781. After the war, I decided to get a college education and get into politics.
