Play The Isle with other Mac users on compatible servers!

The Isle has a history of giving game development priority to PC users first (it is still only advertised as PC based,) and so Mac users have often found themselves falling through the cracks and getting locked out of gameplay because they cannot join the servers for the further-updated PC versions. But fear no more! Join this group to help grow the Mac community for Isle users. Meet up with other Mac users, learn about servers for Mac users including our own dedicated server, and invite others to play in LF Group/Pack/Herd meet ups.

Mac Server LIVE & Update 1.9.1861!!!

We are now online with update 1.9.1861; make sure you get updated because our dedicated server is LIVE and running at that version!

Now before we break out the cake and ice cream for a big celebration, I want to warn everyone that there are still many details to be worked out and bugs to be exterminated. It is possible to connect to the server and enter gameplay, though you may get booted off. If anyone has ideas for troubleshooting this, please let me know otherwise I plan to go back to PingPerfect to see if it’s something on their end that can be fixed.

Battleye is disabled because it is incompatible with Macs. Experimental has been disabled for now due to frequent server crashes. We have access to every map available for The Isle; we are on the “Isle Region2 HQTest” map like before but this can be easily changed if we want (like for special groups events, or exploring map changes from the devs.)

This server name is only temporary, so please feel free to add your suggestions for what we should name our server! Also, let me know how the server is running for you and if you have ideas for troubleshooting whatever issues we encounter. It’s a work in progress still!

I want to sincerely thank everyone for their patience and for the encouragement I’ve received during this rocky transition. We’ve had some real challenges here lately but I’m looking forward to getting back into gameplay with you awesome people!

Update 1.9.1820 is here!

We have had a massive 1.7 GB update today taking us from 1.4.1635 all the way to 1.9.1820! The devs figured out an issue that was delaying our updates and keeping us so far behind the PC ones. We are almost matched up with the PC update level however we're not completely there.

Because of this update, our old server is no longer working for us but just for the time being. PingPerfect hasn't been able to get us updated quite yet but they will be in communication with Deathly about uploading our new version. Until then, I have seen a couple severs with our update floating around, though I personally have only been able to connect to one so far.

Once we are set up with this version on PingPerfect, I believe handling future updates for our server will be much easier and faster. Thank you for your patience everyone! Sorry it has to be this way for a while but it should be fixed real soon!
