Starting Friday March 18th until Sunday 20th 9pm EST, we're having a bronto platform saddle build-off on a special event server we're setting up!

Our admin team will be supplying the material and dinosaurs for this event. All of the mats will be provided to each player in a vault with a special password, so only they can access its contents. Passwords will be provided to players over private chat on Discord, so make sure you're signed up!

Each vault will have the same items including paint, spray gun and paint brush, so you can make it all any colour you want and out of any material, from thatch to glass metal.

Each and every person on either of our servers can join in this event. There are no restrictions on the number of players per tribe who can join in; it's open to everyone.



Each platform must have on it a generator, fabricator, smithy, fridge, campfire and 3 chests.

Your entries will be judged on the following:

• Can the bronto move?
  
• Can you live on the back of it?
  
• Are all the needed items on it?
  
• How does your bronto look?

Each category will earn you points towards a greater total. The player with the highest number of points at the end will win. There will also be a 2nd and 3rd place. The event will be judged by our admin team, meaning everyone can take part (including our new Community Support team members!)



We're still working out the final rewards, but they will be from a supply of cementing paste, chitin, a couple of pre-made high level items, a trophy for 1st, 2nd and 3rd and a couple of other mystery items.

Good news, everyone!

Sabuteus has kindly accepted my invitation to step into the role of admin and will be around to help you guys with any queries or issues you may have, going forward. His main focus will be on running events in coordination with our freshly founded Community Support Team, who've already been busy conjuring up some awesome event ideas for you all.

As many of you may already know, Sabuteus has been around on our PvE server for quite a long time and has over 1000 hours clocked in ARK. He has excellent knowledge on the game and knows our server and its players like the back of his hand, which will no prove itself invaluable to our team in the very near future!

Do you wish you could do more to support the server?
Do you like the idea of being an admin, but still want to play the game and participate in events?

Fret no longer!

It has become apparent to us that there are a whole heap of you who wish to help out with the server and step into larger roles, without necessarily becoming an admin and having to leave your tribes and stop playing.

We're pleased to announce that we're putting together a Community Support Team to fill that gap between player and admin, to encourage regular players to step up and help we admins run the server.

What does this mean for the server? Greater support for our players, better community management and engagement, more events and less frazzled admins. It frees up the admins to work on new mods, provide support requiring the use of console commands and to handle all of the administrative background stuff that takes up all of our time.

Responsibilities will include:

• Player support via Discord and in-game.
  
• Handing out starter packs.
  
• Moderating our community channels, accounts and sites.
  
• Running events in-game and via social media.
  
• Helping test new mods, features and various tools we develop in future.

Benefits will include:

• A fancy [CST] ticker beside your name in-game, and eventually an icon when the game supports it.
  
• We'll provide you with a flying mount to get around on.
  
• In the event Terrus ARK ever wipes (ie, at official game release), long-serving members of the support team will get a headstart and a number of goodies (cosmetic skins, etcetera).
  
• You're on a pathway to becoming an admin with the biggest, best and most professionally run ARK server network in the world!
  
• More will be forthcoming as the role evolves!

We're looking to fill multiple roles on both servers. Simply register your interest with Eldaas on Discord and we can schedule a quick chat!

A couple of quick things to note:

• This position doesn't involve the bestowal of any admin powers, but may eventually lead onto an admin promotion in future for those who put in the effort.
  
• You must be well spoken and be able to type in unbroken English. Precise and proper communication is important!
  
• You must be over the age of 18. We don't care if you're a mature 15 year old. We're an adult community and our players expect adults to run it.
  
• You must have around or over 200 hours on ARK. We expect our Community Support Team members to have a firm understanding of the game and its mechanics.

We've had some requests to get a mod collection up and running in Steam to assist those new players starting with us.
