Anyone know how golfers shop expansion works

Im trying to get the golf cart but the golfer won't sell it no matter how much golf i play

bit late, but the further the golfball goes the more "points" you get, if you set up a contraption that lets you putt a bunch of golfballs halfway across the world you'll get a lot of points fast. for the golf cart you also have to defeat skeletron, if you're seeing premium golf clubs but no golf cart that means you have enough points but havent defeated skeletron
