A question on sub-forums
I'm a little confused on the difference between the questions forum and the debate forum? What exactly dictates which is which? I feel like questions can lead to debates, and that the line between the two are very blurred. Would anyone like to provide some insight on this? Maybe I'm just missing something...

tl;dr Regular questions are straightforward and easy to answer while debate questions are hard questions that require time, much thought and multiple parties to answer.

Sorry for the late response,
So. You have asked a question. It, however, is not exactly a debatable question, as it has a straightforward answer which is what I am providing you with right now. It is a direct, one-dimensional question along the lines of "what does this do" or "how can I use this". Usually, there is one answer, and a single person can supply that answer.
A debatable question is something that many people will have different opinions about and there is no straightforward answer. "What is the best weapon?" is one of these questions. This question must have people discuss what class would hold this title, if a weapon is good against a single (e.g. sniper rifle) and/or multiple (e.g blizzard staff) targets, etc. Typically, many people will have varied views on this topic, and the final answer will either take a long time to reach or might not ever be reached. Furthermore, a lot of information will have to be brought up, so you learn a lot more from these kinds of questions.

Hopefully this helps and I actually made a decent explanation,

I see. So, it's kind of like questions are factual, and debates are more opinion based? Thanks by the way.

Pretty much. But those opinions have to be backed by facts. And no problem.
