Alignment stripes
Upon defeating the Wall of Flesh, two large stripes of Hallow and Corruption/Crimson spawn, one on the left and one on the right. Does anyone know if this is randomized, or if it is set in stone upon world generation? My "base" is on the far right of my map, and I want to know if I can save/reload so that the Crimson will be on th desired side.

Is there any chance you can Futher specify on the situation?
What it sounds like is that:
your base is on the far right of the world.
two strips of the hallow and crimson spawn.
what do you mean the on the left and right side?
i think you mean 1 strip of hallow and 1 strip of crimson/corruption on 1 side of the world and are questioning whether the double strip is spawning on the left/right of the world is written with the world when it is first created or if it is written when you beat the Wall of Flesh

Once the wall is slain, two large stripes spawn, one of hallow and one of crimson. One stripes steers left, and the other steers right. How can I be sure that the right-most stripe is hallow?

i would say that the hallowed and crimsom are set to spawn on their respective sides at the beggining of the world when it is written. people have speculated that the spawning has to do with the direction that the wall is heading when you kill him, but common belief is that it's set when the world is created

My advice. hope for the best and if it doesn't work out. either make a new world with it on the right ( still chance ) and then build a new base. Or the best option. if your world gets hallowed on the non-preferred side. move your base to it.

Well... the hallowed and corruption do turn stone into their respective blocks, so the hallowed/corruption are in the stone almost... so yes, it is set in stone :^)

P.S. Sorry I had to

Yeah, sounds like a bunch of stoney-baloney to me. The only Wall of Flesh I'd consider beating is my own if I were you guys.
