Hey Guys,

So as some of you have seen the morbus server has been very dead for the last few weeks. This is actual typical because most players are starting up school. Last night I had the pleasure of testing out two new maps that have now been added to the map rotation.

If you guys have any feedback on these maps let me know. I am currently working with Demonkush to see if we can improve them in any way.

Just wanted to let you know that because of lack of feedback I have decided to withdraw jmann's application until enough of the staff has the chance to play with him on the server and see him in action.

Hi Guys,

As some of the Morbus staff knows the server has been consistently busy for the last few months. Now since late last year one of my main goals has been to grow the staff for Morbus so the server is more consistently covered. This has been an issue for months now and it has come to the point where I must instate a time requirement for staff members. I have gotten several complaints from regulars, leaders in the community, and even Morbus Staff members in regards to how poorly the server has been covered in the last few weeks.

We need to change something. Unfortunately no matter how many additions to the current staff for the server are made, there seems to be little improvement in how the server is administrated. Starting today I will be placing a requirement for staff members to play FIVE HOURS MINIMUM on the server EVERY MONTH. If there is no change in status of this situation I will be forced to begin demoting people.

I believe that this requirement can easily be reached during that time frame and would greatly assist in keeping the server and community a positive place for players.

NOTE: Also I mentioned this a few times but as staff members one of your responsibilities is to post and provide feedback on new applications as they are posted. I dislike having applications pending for extended periods of time but I'm trying to get as much input as possible before applications are processed. Currently there are two applications on the forums that have been pending awaiting additional feedback for a few weeks now. I will be closing both applications Tomorrow - Friday July 31 so if you haven't already and do have input on the pending applications please do so ASAP.

Staff members please post your thoughts on pending applications. I am closing James'Gamer's app either today or tomorrow. Remember when judging applications it is strongly recommended that you play with the applicant prior to you posting your opinion on their application.

I would also like to remind you guys that activity on the server is key for us to keep it a positive place for people to play on.

I dislike having to send this out but I feel that there has been a continual slippage in moderation from staff members. The server is typically busy 7 days a week now, and the responsibility of moderating the server has fallen mainly on less than half of the staff.

Unfortunately if there isn't an improvement in participation from staff members I will be forced to instate an hour requirement for Morbus moderators. The reason why I decided to grow the Morbus staff was so that the server would be better covered.
