TNZClan

So after 10 years of service to the gaming community, TNZClan, aka TNZ,
or Thunder New Zealand has officially closed due to lack of activity,
and high server costs.

For me personally, it's hard to believe it's been nearly 10 years since
I jumped into a CoD4 server called Thunder NZ 24/7 Killhouse. I met some
guys in there called Lizzy(Lightbulb), and Sambo, and even though I didn't
know it then, it was the start of one heck of a ride, but sadly, all good
things must come to an end.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Lightbulb for having the
vision to create a community like TNZ. I have made some good friends
here, learned alot about computers over the years, and it's all because
of you mate so once again I thank you, for all that you have done for
TNZ, and for being a bloody good Clan Leader as well.

They say it takes a village to raise a child, and in TNZs case it wouldn't
have lasted as long as it has without the help of some great members both
current and former over the years. A special thanks must be made to Jungle,
not only for being our Clan Leader for many years, he also put alot of hard
work into the TNZ servers, with both his time and money, and on many
occasions had to not only sort my computer out, but plenty of others as well.
So many thanks to Jungle as well.
I know he may never read this, so in his absence I'm going to thank Stagefumer as well, he was also our Clan Leader as well for a time, and his knowledge and advice helped me alot in the time that he was in the clan.

To the rest of the admin team that TNZ has had over the years, WJAM, Shooter, ArchAngel, circuitboy, Spike , and also to the many other clan members, both current and former as well like Muzashi, Sambo, MrClone, Fudda, StfSgtBarnes, Soljahtimaru, Tristan, BBC100, to name but a few, I thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. We had some bloody good laughs over many many nights of gaming together and chatting, and on some occasions literally roffling on the floor in hysterics. Also a big shout out to all of the donators to TNZ over the years, your financial support was very much appreciated, and finally a mention in dispatches to all of those whom were part of TNZ at some point, thanks fellas, wherever you are now, some of you were unforgettable.

So with all of that being said I still think that many of us will still keep
in touch, it just won't be by anything run by TNZ anymore, so good luck to
you all and hopefully, I will talk to all of you again real soon.
