After putting great thought into the idea of creating a Halloween-themed CCC, I've decided that it may prove to be worthwhile. The project's current name will be "Halls of Horror," and will consist of "Scary" Test Chambers. Now I probably already know what you're all thinking: "Professor are you mad? Portal 2 isn't that scary of a game." Unfortunately for you, you're wrong. Well, what I mean is that although the original Portal 2 is not terrifying by any means, we can attempt our best to try and create an eerie, Halloween collection.

The good news here is that those who utilize the Hammer Editor will have an easier time creating chambers for this collection due to the significantly-greater ability to customize the test chambers. Portal 2's already-present design scheme of a run-down, abandoned facility can easily be used by however one sees fit for a spooky setting. Unfortunately for people who use PeTI, the job of creating a map that fits with the theme of Halloween will not prove as easy, but do not be discouraged! On the contrary I hope that the difficulty of such a task would actually motivate you to prove me wrong.

The due date for the entries of this collection is of course, October 31st. I am asking you the people to surprise me with your talent, and create one of the spookiest Halloween collections that Portal 2 has ever seen.

Greetings Fellow Test Subjects and Developers,

I've noticed that it's been a while since we've decided to publish our first Community Collaboration Collection: Think Outside the Portal. Because of this fact, I wish to develop another CCC, probably Halloween themed. Knowing portal of course, this may not exactly be the easiest task, and I wished to review this among the AOs and everyone else within this group. Specifically, I'm asking whether anyone here would be interested in developing this Halloween CCC and make any suggestions towards it. Specifically I cannot think of a name other than "Tower of Terror", which doesn't make sense becuase the test chambers are either 1. Underground or 2. In Space.

Greetings Fellow Test Subjects, Test Chamber Developers, and other fellow TCDU members. After waiting for about 2-3 weeks, we have come up with a dismal 3 possible candidates to select from for becoming Activity Officers *Not to be confused with the Activity Administrator, whom is none other than myself.* Because of the lack of candidates and the unprecedented growth rate of this organization, I have decided to just allow the three candidates who signed up to compete for this occupation to become our new Activity Officers. Our new Activity Officers are:

1. Tanger 2b
2. NotaWallPlan
3. Canden
*Note, the numerical order does not determine any sort of hierarchy.*

More information will be specified about the duties of an Activity Officer later. For now they will mainly be responsible for ensuring that rules are carried out and help select candidates for future Community Collab Collections. I will still be the one making announcements and scheduling events.

It has come to my attention that despite serious inactivity, our group is slowly growing with almost 40 members. I will admit I do apologize for not keeping this community as active as it should be in comparison to other groups, but that's the beauty of the Test Chamber Development Union: We work on whatever we want at our own pace. Despite these facts I still insist that we should debate on whether or not we should elect two activity officers in our group, as the increase in member population has made it difficult to coordinate and I can't always be the only one formulating group activities such as forming a Community Collaboration Collection. Therefore I suggest that we discuss whether we are willing to elect two activity officers and which individuals are willing to take the job.

Addendum: I have also released the newest addition of Spelunker with the community request to replace the final goal with a sphere in lieu of a cube.

In case you somehow weren't already aware, a recent major update was released to the PeTI that allows you to develop maps for cooperative testing. In case you were wondering as to whether we were creating a community collaboration collection involving this update, the answer is a definitive yes. Just note that I have yet to formulate a deadline, so feel free to utilize this time developing for the collection.

The main reason I am having such a delay is due to the fact that I am still of High School age, and the majority of all my free time will be spent doing schoolwork. I'm pretty certain that everyone here has an occupation of some sort, so I'm being more lenient towards the deadline.
