What is Super Eurobeat ?

Super Eurobeat is a CD Compilation series of Eurobeat in Japan. It was (still is) the longest running compilation in the entire World. Maybe best known from the Anime " Initial D ".

The series began with Italo Disco and the slow beats and the 80s tone make this music stand ot from the rest. In the modern time SEB is a bit faster and powerful and this makes the music something special."."Super Eurobeat" is not a Music genre! The genre is called " Eurobeat ". Avex Trax released many Albums every year but now things have changed a bit.....

The Series will now continue with Yearly releases since 2019.

....since some Time has passed Avex changed their Release cycle and Super Eurobeat Albums are going to Release yearly now.

Why was there no post earlier about that?

Honestly I really thought Avex has abandonded Eurobeat and the series ended with Vol. 250 / 30 Years Anniversary but I was wrong. Thanks to a Group Member ( De🌙 ) that found out that Dave Rodgers is releasing a digital Classic Compilation besides the Original series i also got the Information that nearly SEB Releases are happening.

It has been a long Time but well here we go again!

The Eurobeat Series has come to an End as it seems and many sources are confirming it.Maybe Avex is going to revive the SEB series someday but for now Volume 250 will be the last one in the series.Please keep supporting AVEX by buying the SEB Albums instead of illegal downloading!!!

So as most of the people have possibly heard from one or more sources. Avex has been letting us in on the news that 250 shall be the end of the longlasting series. These sad news are definitely not the kind of christmas present we wanted to hear from Avex, but alas it seems one era is coming to a closure next year. The remaining albums before 250 will not have new material, so sadly it seems 246 shall be the last album to feature new music.
What the future brings for the genre is a mystery. Hopefully the labels will find a new outlet to keep being productive, but at this point all we can do is be thankful for the masterminds producing this awesome music for decades. Eurobeat-Prime thanks all of the artists for their devotion to making the fans happy. Let's hope this is not the end of eurobeat.

Damn...thats a lot. Maybe only google for specific artists , album series or anything like that. Some old-school Italian eurobeat CDs etc. Also Doujin Eurobeat "Dōjin Ongaku" worth a try.
