Hi guys, I took some time this morning to do some code optimizations, and as a result, the v1/prices API now responds up to 10x faster for uncached queries.

The operation was a success. There are now two separate servers for Steamlytics: one is used solely for database writing, and the other one is used for handling web traffic, meaning the site will stay up even if the database goes down (unless I get a bunch of traffic necessitating another server upgrade). That said, I've never had to do that before, so I'm glad nothing exploded.

However, there are still other issues that need to be worked on (specifically API speed), so please be patient if you run into any issues, and let me know.

Unfortunately the earlier server upgrade wasn't enough, due to the fact that database write/read (but mostly writes) was taking up 100% of the CPU most of the time.

To alleviate this issue, I'll be setting up another server to act as the web server, and have the original server be the master server for the database.

Yay, over 10 million sales has now been recorded from the Steam market and various other sources.

I also upgraded the server's memory from 2 GB to 4 GB to deal with the resources necessary to run everything, so hopefully there will be no more downtime.
