Game Recording too dark with HEVC enabled
Version of steam: 1741737356
Platform: Windows
The model of your computer's graphics card: AMD Radeon 6700 XT
Your graphics driver version: 25.3.1
What game you were playing: All games
Any other game recording software you are also using: None
The sequence of what happened and what you observed: recorded video is too dark with HEVC enabled in timeline and when exported. Looking at the exported file's mediainfo, the video seem to these lines Color range : Full
colour_range_Original : Limited

I could provide the m4s files for one of the clips if needed (43 MB)

Sadly Valve doesn't seem to care enough to fix this. It has been an issue since it's launch.
You can disbale HEVC to fix the brightness but your recording will be capped at 1080p and horribly low bitrate, even Ultra won't look good.

Yeah I had this issue since the beta Game Recording. That's the issue with Valve, they always release these cool features but soon abandon them to collect dust in a buggy state.
