Create Clip shortcut doesn't work in Non-Steam Games

Basically the title. When I'm in a Non-Steam game, of which I have many, I can't save a clip using the Steam+Up chord. It just does nothing, doesn't even show a notification. This only affects the controller shortcut; desktop shortcuts still work fine as far as I know.

This is really annoying; even after an entirely new SteamOS update, it still doesn't work on my Steam Deck. I already made a GitHub issue about this, and I still got nothing.

DaVinci Resolve. It's free, you can edit, cut clips, add titles and just about anything else you might want to do. Stop waiting on people who don't care to fix your problems.

That solution won't work for everyone. I primarily experience this issue on the Steam Deck while in gaming mode and setting up any other recording software in gaming mode is both a massive hassle and detrimental to performance.
