No "share" options
Hi! I tried it on steamdeck and PC both and my recordings have no "share" button, I can only view or delete them. I tried several tutorial online and it seems I'm doing the same things and going to the same places, the button just doesn't appear for me.

Are you trying to share a clip or a background recording?
Background recordings tend to be too large to share - so if you haven't, try making a clip of the recording and sharing that.

If that doesn't work, please let us know what client version you're using by checking Help > About Steam.

Oh so that's what is wrong! Can you advise the optimal length of the recording?

When I tried sending a clip from my Steam Deck to my laptop, Steam told me the maximum size to share a clip must be 100MB or less - roughly equivalent to 1min or less.
