I hope to see actual gameplay included in the videos when the game officially launches, not just cinematic trailers.
The game market's flooded with titles, all pushing super flashy trailers. But here's the rub: tons of these games have killer marketing that shows nothing about how you actually play. It's all hype, no real gameplay. Players buy in blind, get burned by a game that's nothing like the trailer, and rush to refund. But here's the real kicker: on platforms like Steam, if you play more than 2 hours trying to figure out if it's any good, you're often locked in. You can't get your money back even if you were totally misled by those fancy trailers. It's basically getting scammed with no way out.

I'm talking about seeing the actual, ongoing gameplay — raw and unedited — not just spliced highlights or the most exciting bits.Even a small part of the chapters experienced during the game process is fine. It's too deceptive.
Plus, I've seen plenty of games that still just show handpicked, flashy bits in their promo videos.

And that's allowed, correct.

yeah...getting tricked feels terrible though. Some games even design traps specifically to exploit Steam's refund timer.:winter2019saddog:
