When you are playing a game that you are not hiding and open a software/game that you are hiding. Your status goes from "Playing X" to "Online". This situation also causes problem on multiplayer games where you cant invite friends to join you because you are not seen as playing any game. You need to close the hidden software/game then invite your friend to make it work.


I'm playing Elden Ring Nightrein which uses steam invite feature. This game is not hidden in my library. When I open a software called "Soundpad" since its hidden in my library my status switches to "Online". During this time when I invite a friend to Elden Ring Nightrein, they cant join. Closing the soundpad fixes the issue but defeats the purpose.

• Have a game that have steam multiplayer invite system integrated into it.
  
• Have a software in your library and hid it it from public view.
  
• Open the software while your game is open and monitor your status.
  
• Try to invite someone to play for your multiplayer game
  
  Hoping it gets fixed, its by-passable but annoying.
