Temporary Fix Found: Steam "failed to start process for this game, the requested operation requires elevation 0x2E4" error
Launching games from the platform may sometimes return "failed to start process for this game, the requested operation requires elevation 0x2E4" error.

Preconditions:
Beta Participation: YES

Steps to reproduce:
Select LIBRARY from the main menu
Select ALL GAMES
Select Any Game (Marvel Rivals, Path of Exile, Darktide, and possibly other games as well)
Launch Game
Error message displayed

FIX:
Turn of Beta Participation in Steam -> Settings -> Interface -> Beta Participation

Possibly helpful:
Windows Repair
Setting .exe game file as "Run as administrator" for all users
Verify game files
