Issue: Steam Profile/Account stuck in offline mode, prompts to change it to online mode have no effect.

OS: Windows 11 Pro
Steam Version: Steam Beta live as of 10/10/2025

Steps:
Start Steam (from cold start)
Click the "Friends & Chat" button in the bottom right of platform
Click the downward chevron by your profile name
Try to select Online status, selection fails to change status.

Expected:
On start of Steam, status changes automatically to online

Workaround:
Start Steam
Click the "Friends & Chat" button in the bottom right of platform
Click the downward chevron by your profile name
Select "Away" Status changes from Offline
Select Online, Status changes from Away to Online
From there you can cycle between all options without issue.
