~11 days this typo has been impacting the ability for all Firefox and Steam mobile client users to make market listings
Using an extension, I changed my Firefox User Agent to a Chrome one, which "tricks" websites into thinking I'm accessing them through Chrome.
By doing this, I was able to list the item normally in the Steam Market using Firefox.
So this is something you can report to Steam support. The issue is with the User Agent. For some reason, the API that lists the items in the market is rejecting and/or returning an error when some part of the User Agent is missing and/or different.
Firefox User Agent (doesn't work):
Chrome User Agent (works):
The inability to raise bugs directly with a dedicated steam community team is frustrating
No way to know what got the message through, but I finally decided to put through a second steam support ticket 19 hours ago
Regardless, looks like the issue is fixed, I am now able to list an item from both a firefox browser AND the steam mobile app
