No In-Game Audio When Streaming Through Steam Link
**ISSUE**
No in-game audio is heard when streaming a game through Steam Link, though menu audio plays normally.

**OS**
Windows 11

**STEPS**
  • Launch Steam Link and connect to the host PC running Steam on Windows 11.
  • From the Steam Link menu, select *Library*.
  • Choose *Baba Is You* and start the game.

**RESULTS**
  • Menu sounds (navigation clicks, music) are audible before launching the game.
  • Once gameplay starts, all in-game audio is silent.
  • The issue persists after reinstalling Steam and restarting the system.

**EXPECTED**
Game audio should be heard during gameplay when streaming through Steam Link, not just menu audio.

**ADDITIONAL NOTES**
  • Tested with *Baba Is You*.
  • Tried both the Steam Client Beta and the Stable Client; the issue occurs on both.
  • Disabling and uninstalling “Steam Streaming Speakers” and “Steam Streaming Microphone” in Device Manager did not resolve the problem.
  • Steam was fully uninstalled and reinstalled; behavior remains unchanged.

did you check in your OS audio settings if something changed? microsoft recently had an update that changed some stuff in my settings. im on win11 pro. (it switched my standard audio settings to my headphone unit,so had to manually switch it back to my speakers audio). not a big issue but nonetheless an issue that took me few hours to figure out as i didnt know what exactly happened at the time of the update. easy fix though as i simply just had to switch it back to my speaker standard unit.
