Xbox Series X Controller - wrong button inputs over Bluetooth
While playing Devil May Cry 5, the A and B buttons are switched, the camera is bound to the right trigger. In Xbox Accessories/Steam/DMC5 the mappings/bindings all appear normal. When plugging in via USB this issue is fixed.

I was informed the Steam beta would help, but after installing it, it worked normally once and now I can't get it back to operating normally.

Found a fix:

1. Go into the game settings
2. Change *Steam Input Per-Game* Setting to *"Forced On"*

Just wanted to add, for anyone who's stuck, that the game settings you need to find are in Steam's Big Picture mode.

was thinking my controller was defective

If anyone can help, I've been following these comments step by step, in big picture mode, to no avail.
Under all of the controller settings available to me there's no "forced on" option to select from.
Only selectable options are
"disable steam input"
"Use default settings"
"Enable steam input"

Can't get my controller mapped properly, even when plugged in.
