Screenshots don't work on 0.10.3
If screenshots are being saved somewhere (as something does seem to be happening when the buttons are pressed) then it's not in the games directory or the games screenshot folder. Not even taking screenshots normally through steam works with specialk active.

Edit - To add - Rolling back to 0.10.X fixes some of the above, taking screenshots normally now works but taking lossless screenshots does not (folder is created but nothing is output).

I believe 0.10.3.x as a whole had a few weird bugs related to Steam enhancements. For example, I believe disabling Steam enhancements would disable interacting with the Special K control panel using mouse and keyboard entirely as well, or something weird like that.

I don't think Monster Hunter World really benefits from newer versions compared to older ones, so I believe you should be fine just using an older version if that is more compatible with that particular game.

Well 10.0.XDR had a rather aggressive bug that took out windows entirely when I changed resolution so how far back should I go?

I’d recommend the latest version in the 0.9.x branch. 0.10.x brought with it some major changes from the previous versions which may have made it a bit more unstable.

You can also try one of the new versions but disable Steam enhancements (Silent=true below [Steam.Log]) as that should also fix it by defaulting to Steam’s native screenshot feature.
