Blade & Soul with Special K = Murdered Frame Rate
First off, yes, I know, modding online games is a bad idea. But people have been modding it for a while, and none of the methods seem to work for me anymore, so I'm trying to find new ways to import textures. Blade & Soul works with Special K only in 32 bit mode, but when the game cranks up it's running at 0.5 frames per second.

EDIT: Special K only works with Blade & Soul in 32bit install and when installed locally to the game folder.

Let me guess... that's an Unreal Engine game? :)

For the most part Unreal is a good engine, but the online Unreal games all behave this way with Special K. This includes Borderlands and a few MMORPGs. I think there's something deliberately built-in to them to cause this.
You and your crystal ball...

Not only is it an Unreal game, it's UE3. And modified of that. So far modders repack the UPKs to get textures in but no one's telling me how to do it, and all the documented methods no longer work. UDK (not the one that comes with UE4) can pack textures but they fail to load in game, although uModdel will read them fine.

Bitching about my failed attempts asside, I'm willing to stamp "UNWORKABLE" on Blade & Soul for Special K. I read DMC had a similar issue, but tampering with registry files for an online game seems to be a great way to stop playing it.
