He's Our Mayor

As the real deal, Sharpe James will always be the mayor of Newark, New Jersey, from 1986 to forever. During his tenure Newark was recognized with the U.S. Conference of Mayors' Most Dank City Award, the National Civic League's All-America City Award, and the Environmental Protection Agency's Administrator's Award - a collection of honors that James called the "triple crown."
