Bringing to you my favorite selection of retro pixel art games

I grew up with NES, when pixel art was not a THING, it was the ONLY thing!

Since then I have seen many poorly thoughtout and/or executed games that take on the appeal of bringing back this style of game. Along the way, there have been a great number of games that have shined and I have truly had a join in playing, exploring and completing.

I just wanted a place I could call them out and maybe help introduce others to similar joys.

The group was created to support the curation of these wonderful games, by way of Sazo's Favorite Pixels Curation. So, the only major requirement to be a part of this community and show support, is to be an active follower of the curation.

Sorry I haven't been around...

I feel like I was on a roll of exploration, with not only classic pixel, but all great modern attempts at keeping such a beautiful art alive!

Sadly, circumstances changed and I moved a lot of my gaming to console, out of convenience for my circumstances.

I wish I had more time to devote to my continued exploration and sharing of pixel art games, but sadly life got in the way.

I have a little boy who is coming up on 6 and sadly, he was abducted about 3 years ago and I have been fighting his return.

I used to play games and share, but now I only play as an escape from my reality...I just don't have the energy to give back, when so much has been taken from me.

I really enjoyed what I thought I was starting and how people joined up to listen to what I shared and hopefully tried some games they might have missed...or even avoided some games that wasted my time ;)

I just wanted to say that I didn't stop posting out of the blue, rather my life took a turn for the worst and I had to walk away from pretty much all the things that were about me and I only focus on all the things that might bring my little Liam back home to the US.

I appreciate all those who found value in what I had to share and I wish you all amazing lives!

Maybe some day I can come back to catch up on the games I haven't had a chance to post on :)

Curious test to see how many people pay attention to group announcements ;)

We have over 150 members in the group and it seems communication it not central to most gamers in regard to group activity.

Or, since I am new to creating a group, maybe people pay more attention to certain other groups over this one?

I just wanted to shout out and see how many people see these announcements...

Every new game I play and every time I have to think about, if it is good or bad, I constantly refine my understanding of the value of a game and its experience...

I hope that I continue to help people towards enjoying games they might not have experienced, and unfortunately, help them also avoid those which might be a waste.
