As I have gotten older I find that higher resolutions can be harder to read without MASSIVE monitors. Even at 32" a 1440 monitor a browser needs to be zoomed to 125% to make things easier to read and when I use apps that do not scale I find myself leaning into the monitor to see.

This has resulted into my moving toward 1080P displays at 27" and 32". I sit a bit further back and there is no pixel issue, plus things are easier to read. For gaming the fact I need less money in my GPU to get amazing frame rates and smooth game play is a huge plus.

Bought it and downloaded already, love me some Mechwarrior.....

Sometimes you do not want a gamer that needs major hardware to run or requires hours of play time. Sometimes you want something to fill a time gap and run on your gaming or work rig.

"future Proofing" is a myth. The PC's technology changes to fast for any way to ensure a set time between upgrades. You can build a system with what you hope is a longer life span but there is no way to be sure of anything beyond tomorrow.

Guess it depends on your gaming passion. I have know racing and flight sim guys to drop $4000 and $5000 on rigs just to play one or two games

Right now my favorite is Battletech. Also a hug fan of XCOM2, Phantom Doctrine, Wasteland 2 & 3 as well as Divinity Original Sin. There are some awesome turn based games out there.

Thought this would be a fun question. So on average how many hours a day do you spend gaming on your PC?

The game was definitely a victim of it's own hype and over marketed. However I feel like the PC version took to much heat for the flaws in the console version. I have played through the game before the big patch launch and had only minor glitches.

Overall the game was good but that is the flaw the hype created. This game had the potential to be great and was released as more of a skeleton than a fully realized game.

Yes everything done at the custom resolution.
