Is there any interest in a Season 9 in the New Year?

Due to matters beyond our control all matches that were to be oplayed tonight have been postponed a week. See the forums for further details.

The season kicks off tonight so make sure that if you are involved that you have checked that you can connect to the server ok. If not notify me so that I can address before match time. Any last minute problems will mean that the player will miss the first round. The emphasis is on the teams to check their player's connections to the game server. I do not expect any problems thougfh unless incorrect Steam ID's have been provided or last minute additions to team lists that were missed.

After having to postpone the Grand Final matches because of a Valve update, both matches will be played tonight. There will be two double headers. One each for Division 1 & Division 2. Division 2 matches will be at 6.30 & 7.30pm between sCr & Resurgence. Division 1 matches will be at 8.30 & 9.30pm between cLag & SAW.

STV is up & running for the respective servers. Remember if you have trouble finding the servers try without the game running from desktop. Another recent Valve screw up :).

The Season V Grand Final series has been postponed due to circumstances beyond our control.

Unfortunately the most recent DODS update has borked STV.

As a rollback is not feasible because of it being both a client & server update the postponement was the only real option.

Team Captains have been spoken to & the postponement was agreed to.

Due to next week being Mother's Day it has been put back 2 weeks to May 16th.

Hopefully this gives Valve enough time to issue a fix.
