R.I.P Brother :( I didn't know him so well, I might of spoken to him once or twice. But even though I didn't know him that well, I remembered that he was a friendly person...... a good soul, may he rest in peace

going back to 2012-2014 sorta time Guard was a big part of our community "The Brotherhood"
and we unfortunately had our differences and he left, it certainly upset me when he left but mid 2015 sorta time he contacted me and some of the other members expressing his apologies and we also apologised and reconcilled, it takes alot of guts to do something like that after a pretty big bust up and he was the one to make the first move, had a lot of respect for him there and i still have it now, it's incredibly sad he passed away, i really am sorry that we couldn't fully move past it like the old times, he was a very dear friend. my condolences to people who remained closer to him :( <3

I've thought about you several times over the last couple years, wondering what you're playing now, whether you would message me again etc. Now I find out you won't. My Heart goes out to Guard wherever he may be now, and to his family. Guard was always a friend to everyone and was always quick to have a bit of fun. My only regret is that we couldn't help him. But the memories we all shared with him we can carry his legacy forward.

He was a great friend, a man that had the biggest heart in the whole damn world. Hell he was the first person whoever had the patience to teach me how to fight in Mount & Blade and that was not easy. We meet on Feudal World and he introduced me to the Greens and he tought me everthing IK about mapping and playing PW. My brother you are gone, but you shall never be forgotten!

While extremely saddened by this news, it brings me consolation that the PW community can unite and say goodbye to one of our own.

Rip Guard, loved this guy. I'm from the North American side of the PW community, but Guard and I managed to connect, and became friends. He and I had fun designing the map Feudal Lords together, which he did amazing at building. He was a great guy, and brought a lot of value to other people's lives. My only regret is that we were not in contact enough, and not open enough with each other that there was nothing I could to do to help him out. Lets honor him by attempting to get to know others well enough that they open up about their personal challenges in life, and maybe we could do something to help them.

I've met him a few years past. He was always a fun and kind person. I'm sad that he had to go.

I have known Guard for a few years now. We have played many games for many hours and spent a lot of time talking and playing together, talked each day for period of months at a time. He was a great friend, always thought of others even in his bad days. We spoke many times of deppresion and of our problems between all the laugh we had. Guard was a creative and fun to be with person, and he respected and was respected by the people around him and the respect felt natural even to people who didn't really know him. I will not forget the times we spent together and helping us even when we didn't ask you too, you were such giving person and I have never met someone like you.

you were a good man and a truly kind person. All you ever wanted to do is make others happy, not ever thinking about yourself. Wether it was cheering us up when we were down, giving a friendly advice or simply spending time with us, always gentle and conciderate. It is absolutely tragic that this is how it ends but I guess life isn't perfect. You are forever loved and will be missed.

To most I'll be unknown, but I knew guard from gaming. My experiences of a kind and welcoming person. Absolutely shaken by these events. I'm sure your journey continues, whilst I'm still just that doctor from PW. Love Penguin.

I've met Guard in the PW community when we played together. Hes one of the very few players of PW I can claim that never caused anything bad. Guard even wanted to help where he could, he was administrating ingame and hosting events just to make it enjoyable for others. Even when he had less free time he sacreficed his time to help the ungrateful PW community.

We had great times ingame and during that I got to know him, we had loads of fun roaming arround just enjoying the game at its prime time. I still remember his voice and his laughs when we were doing stupid stuff ingame. There was no person that could hate Guard, he was just too nice and funny that anyone could do something against him.

It saddens me that we lost contact after both of us ceased playing PW, I wish we did something more together.Regardless Guard was an amazing friend and person, one of those you meet barely in your life. Guard, I am thankful that I had the honor to meet you and I hope you're at a better place.

I knew Guard an exceptional member of the Mountain blade community whom created maps with such dedication and to such a high standard that most people would never even be able to compete. This is one of the many reasons that he will be remembered but Guard was more than that, he was a man, am man with more friends and accomplishments than I believe he gave himself credit for, as evidenced by the amount of people that have joined this community in Honour of his memory.

May Riad Kordi never be forgotten.

May his work be a reminder of who and what he was. For as long as there are nerds like us who have the privilege to enjoy them, Guard will never be forgotten.
