Chester Charles Bennington (1976 - 2017)

Born March 20, 1976 in Arizona, American singer and songwriter for Linkin Park has been struggling with depression, along with many other problems for such a long time, ever since childhood. He had a hard time fitting in with the crowds at school and he became addicted to drugs.

He eventually found a way to vent all of this out and at the same time followed his dreams by auditioning as main singer for the band Hybrid Theory, which was starting to go downhill until Chester joined and started writing songs for them, settling on the band name Linkin Park. Their success continued on from there.

His songs were meant to be a cry for help from all the struggles he goes through, dealing with grief and depression, but it doesn't seem like anybody was paying attention to any of those messages like they were meant to be. Eventually, he hung himself at home in California on the day of his friend Chris Cornell's 53rd birthday when he had died about two months prior.
