List of games that were revoked or had keys invalidated by devs
KEYS INVALIDATED BY DEV
Keys for these games should show "duplicate" error when activating
  1. Discouraged Workers
  2. Escape From Nazi Labs - email dev for replacement
  3. Life is hard (Indie Gala)
  4. LOKA - League of keepers Allysium
  5. MAV (Alienware Arena giveaway)
  6. Mayhem Intergalactic (Microbundle #3) - TO BE CONFIRMED
  7. Nekro (Groupees) - you could get replacement for a short time
  8. Shakedown Racing (Indie Gala) you could get replacement for a short time
  9. Snake Party - email dev for replacement (support@displacementstudios.com)
  10. Tyran (Indie Gala) - email Indie Gala support for replacement
  11. Vortex Attack - email dev for replacement
  12. XNemesis Sandbox - email dev for replacement

This is my analysis after mass activation wave of all leftovers from past year.

XNemesis Sandbox - Unactivated keys were invalidated for all the bundles where it was. You can mail developer with proof of purchase to get replacement (confirmed myself). Apparently developer was aware of reselling, and invalidated keys purposefully to avoid devaluation of game price :S
SCP 087. Re - was bundled earlier, but unactivated keys became useless (unavailable sub - DMCA). So accordingly - irreplacable.
Discouraged Workers - bundled, unactivated keys are invalidated by developer. Not sure about reason.
Nekro - invalidated by developer, and then removed from Steam. Developer disappeared, game is only purchasable on humble for some ridicilious price.
Vortex Attack - invalidated by developer. Response came in 4 months from representative.

Last Survivor, Jerry McPartlin - Rebel with a Cause and MAV keys all say "Duplicate" when activated. Tried multiple keys of all of them.

Portal Key is DMCA but there are beta keys still floating around. not sure of the source.
Zenblade was DMCA. Wipe Out VR & Panoptes also

Small update to avoid confusion - StarDrone is not on Steam. Apparently title was Desura only, and by accident i might have looked at wrong title. Pls remove it :squirtooh:

Might not be totally up to speed, but I believe at one point keys for AXYOS were deactivated - were they ever re-activated?

Yes, any MAV key from Alienware Giveaway and possibly from other sources too, have been invalidated by the dev on purpose: "All giveaway keys that were un-redeemed have now been revoked. If you are buying keys from re-seller sites like ♥♥♥, it is VERY likely you will be getting an invalid key."

Galaxy in eclipse was DMCA and LOKA - League of keepers Allysium keys do not work anymore.

Update on Vortex Attack - I received reply from representative after 4 months of wait.
They gave me new key, old key was invalidated because of resell as well.

Can we sticky this? This seems like a growing problem.

Nebula Online - OtakuMaker Bundle #4 - Invalid Product Code
I emailed the devs and got my replacement keys before the game was removed from Steam.
