Calling All Fighters!

This is a public group for gamers who believe that the best defense is a good offense.

We currently have no servers in any games, but if we get a number of members quickly, we may create some.

This group can be used for having a good Steam family to relate yourself to (you can wear our tag: TROff in your Steam ID if you want); for sharing and comparing favorite games, good players, fighting styles, and helpful strategies; and for trading in-game items from Spiral Knights, Team Fortress 2, or Portal 2.

If you've got suggestions for the page such as profile pictures, things to add in the description, or a worthy Player of the Week, let us know in the Suggestions announcement.

In relation to other forms of media such as Facebook or a website, we will consider creating them if we get a good number of members to the group. Please do not create your own website for this page (under penalty of being banned from the group and site). The admins will take care of that.

To game or not to game? To raffle or not to raffle?

Hey, TROffers.

Two ideas that we never settled are about to be settled: group-only TF2 battles and raffles.

Now we know that this guild is dedicated to neither event, but we thought it might be fun if you all want to do them.

We tried a group-only battle before, but no one responded. We've gotten more members since then, so here's to hoping we hear from more of you.

And raffles... our raffle would be donating a TF2 or Spiral Knights item to us if you want to play and one or two random people winning the donations.

So its voting time! Please comment below about whether you would like to see one, both, on neither of organized TROff-only TF2 games or raffles in this group. We are only taking what we get from you guys. If only one person comments saying that he wants both, and no one else says anything, then we're doing both! If no one comments, then we'll assume that no one is interested.

TROff Kickoff Game

Hey TROff-ers.

We're organizing a Team Fortress 2 game in order to celebrate 25+ members to the group! We have just enough members for a good game if everyone shows, so here are the details:

- The date for this event is the cutoff date to RSVP to the game, not the actual game date. We're thinking about having the game sometime in the afternoon on Saturday November 5.
- If you want to join us (it will be only TROff members), please comment on this event with your RSVP.
- In your RSVP, please include the map you would like to play (we’ll choose the most popular), a time that works for you, or a suggested date if you can’t make November 6. Most likely, we’re going to be playing on an empty, unused, Valve server, so make sure your map of choice is an official TF2 map.
- Wherever we decide to play, be aware that its going to be a CLEAN, CHEATING-FREE game. No foul language, trolling, trading, or cheating during the game, or you will have earned yourself a boot from the server and the group.
- If you don't RSVP by October 31, you will be removed from the off-site guest list and it will be assumed that you will not be joining us.
- The person who places top on the leaderboard (points will be added during gametime to make a grand total) AND has the “TROff” tag in their name will be named Player of the Week for the group.

More details will follow (including theh times that points will be tallied and the exact date for the game), but we can only have this event if you respond! We’ll be listening!
