Welcome to (probably not the first) Reddit's MvM Group!

I am sad to say that pairings are now locked due to veterans and novices not caring anymore, people not having tickets, and just overall slow activity. ;-; However, you can still add other people on the forums if you want to mvm with them and the guides forum is still open if people want to give advice or read up on some calsses. Thanks to everyone for helping make this project a thing, even if it did last a brief amount of time.

I am sad to say that I will be practically retiring this group; pairings are now locked due to veterans and novices not caring anymore, people not having tickets, and extremely slow activity. ;-; However, you can still add other people on the forums if you want to mvm with them and the guides forum is still open if people want to give advice or read up on some calsses.

Thanks to everyone for helping make this project a thing, even if it did last a brief amount of time. It was fun meeting all of you, and I'm sorry for all the novices who just couldn't fully experience mvm due to bad leadership or harshness of some of our veterans. I tried my best (Its the thought that counts?).

And finally, a huge shout out to LightRod, CruzaComplex, and DavidM for helping moderate and make this group become what it is now!

Heyo!
We hope all of you guys are having fun playing MvM with each other! Sorry that the guides section of our group has been kind of dead, us moderators have been busy with pairings and other stuff, but to make up for this, my good friend and member of this group Angelove has made a video on How to Play Engineer in MvM. Go ahead and check it out! Also, make sure you subsribe to her channel as she has been thinking about making more MvM video guides and she has some pretty great videos on other games!

Yeah, I totally agree JnT. I'd love to have a fully automatic setup, however currently we don't have the funds or experience to hire someone to build a site. If you (Or anyone) know anyone who might be interested in helping out however, feel free to let me or Aqua know. This was an experiment in a sense, however we'd love to get a real 'permanent' fix in the future!

In no way does this mean the group is stopping, however we're looking to upgrade soon-ish, as this setup isn't really working too much. We'll keep you posted on updates!

The only way I can see this working is if we have some sort of automated system similar to that of TF2Center. If it's done manually then it's going to be more and more of a hastle when the group gets bigger. Group chats could also work but not everyone uses them.
