Weekly update

Hello Everyone,
We have thought about making every week an update list of what we have done in the game on that week, so starting off with the programming side:

~~~~Networking~~~~
- so as you guys probably heard(or not) we have moved into a new unity networking solution called "Bolt", the solution offers alot of great featrues and one of them that we liked the most is the ability to make the game "Authoritative" means that all of the important actions will be made on the server ( means that alot of the hackers will be gone ).
we have already made our Inventory completely Authoritative so alot of the duplicating, faking items and so on exploits are mostly gone.

- We have also started to use a solution called "Area of interest" and "Point of interest" which means that the server will send information to the players concerning entities only for the ones who are actually in their "Zone".

- We have also started to "Sort" our connections, so everytime theres a connection connecting we are checking if the connection is banned or not, this will also allow us to load inventory easily in the future.

~~~Chat~~~
- we have added some new chat functionality which means, PM's are now avaliable and also Admins can excute commands(give item, teleport, kick, ban).

~~Resources, Trees and so on~~
- We have thought about ways to make Trees, and resources(resources is only place holder at the moment and will be changed to something unique in the future), and even animals,
to spawn randomly on the map, so we have made it work by checking an avaliable location randomly on the map with the map boarders locations and check if the spawn location is tagged as one of the placeable ground textures, if it is spawn it on an correct rotation and position, if not then repeat the action.

~~Inventory~~
- Also, this week we have started to add functionality to magazines, and we made it easier in the future to add costum magazines for weapons, for example AK-47 can use several magazines and each one can have different trail, sound effect, smoke particle, damage and so on.

- We have also added Belt to the game, so people can actually use the weapons now from their keyboard instead of right clicking on an item and pressing "Equip".

- At the moment the design for the inventory isnt very nice, since its still in work, we are open to any ideas about some inventory features (for example: ability to add camo to weapons) , designs and so on.

- We have also added the option to drop an item, which i thought was very important .

~~Map Editor~~
- I myself, as a programmer really wanted to add the ability to make map editor, personally i dont like the feeling when someone makes the map and you just have to deal with it without ability to make one to your like and let people play on it. so we are now planning on adding map editor. ( hopefully we can show some of it in the next few weeks ).

~~HitBox~~
- Since "Bolt" offers a very nice solution for hitboxes, i've added it into the player, so now you have different damage for : Head, Chest, Calf, Forarms, Neck, and body. ( please feel free to comment with a body part you would like to see in the game! )

(We know that we are using the bootcamp soldier model, we will go over that in the animations section as well).

- We have also made Proximity zone around the player, so if a bullet hits that zone you will hear a sound effect of when a bullet moves near you.

~~Player Stats~~
- We have finished making the player stats, and now you have basic stats of :
Health,
Hanger,
Thirst,
Temperture.

- Each one of those stats also decrease/increase.

- Obviously every consumable item effecting those stats -
exampe : Cold drink will decrease your thirst but will also make you colder.

~~ Models ~~

- So this week, we didnt have alot of work on the modeling side, Because some of the modelers had tests and so on and couldnt work alot on the game, so this week we have added an Amusement Park into the game, we have also added the safe zone( we have also added lots of new content in it ), we have also started to wire all of the map with pylons.

~~ Animations ~~

- So as you have seen we are using currently the Bootcamp soldier, our animator is working very hard on pulling all of the needed animations out for our original character so we can start implenting our character on the game.

i might have missed a thing or two, but this is the most important updates other than bug fixes and exploites fixes.
