About Us

Our Goal is to become a professional team for multiple games but mainly CS:GO, and possibly branch into other games. If we aren't busy practicing we are probably, dealing with life or enjoying gaming. Thanks to Quantum member "Moon" we have our own personal custom logo now. We are accepting Group and Community made avatars to possibly be our logo (see below for more information.)

How We Began

The idea of Team Quantum (formally known as "Quantum ESports") aroused from our passion for ESports. To us ESports encompasses all the traits that make any and all other sports unique.

Teamwork, when it comes to fast paced shooters its teamwork requirements is equal to and if not surpasses even the most team based sports. ESports relies so heavily on strategy that if your team doesn't have a good teamwork, your plans might have been able to change the meta but because your team wasn't able to execute the plan, the idea is forgotten.

Leadership, when your team gets into a pinch the only way out is good leadership to spark what is needed to turn it around. The way out might be a change in leadership or combining the ideas coming from multiple sources to create one that will truly work for the benefit of the team.

Exhilarating moments of rush and glory, any dedicated player of any sport knows the feeling we speak of, the feeling that now you are in control of the outcome you alone walk the line of victory or defeat. To a soccer/football player it might be taking a perfect free-kick to score the tournament winning goal. To a gamer it might be hitting all the right shots to clutch the round to move on to overtime.

No matter what the sport there are always moments components like those listed that provide an experience, and the result decides the story you can tell afterwards. Those are what we value the basis of our team upon. Now we invite you to join the fun with us!

Earlier this week we went ahead and decided to throw up links to our website in nearly ever place that you can find us, and it is about time I posted an announcement with the link in it (Below).

Expanding Quantum's Member Base
So I have noticed that some of us have been putting a lot of work into trying to put Quantum as far away as possible from a rag-tag group, and changing it into something that is organized, has goals, and is built upon a love of video-games. Now I ask that those of you would want to see this group grow, to invite members into the group from your friend's list. As that way when things are announced we have an actual group of people to receive replies, views, and idea from. Another reason for that is if people you invite are interested they can start a Quantum team for a game.

To explain what I mean, an invited player from your friend's list may want to start a Dota 2 team. They can invite players into Quantum so that they can have a team, and then that team will have full access to the Quantum user-base. That Dota 2 team would then benefit because they now have places they can announce things, recruit players, and generally have more continuous fun as there are more people around who they might know and be able to play with. For Quantum as a group we actually really get the same benefits as the Dota 2 team I mentioned. The last benefit that is bonus to both groups is that if the Dota 2 team and another Quantum want to go pro they both just got more publicity.
