You are free to make as many posts as you need. The only rule will be to not make spam or repetitive posts with the same title and information.

I encourage to make posts with this labels. If you do not, it's ok, but if I can get into edit those posts. I will put the labels by myself, so don't freak out if you don't find any of your posts as like you did the last time. It will be the same, just with a label.

Hello everyone!

I will make this post regarding everyone who has troubles following up the events, sever dates or play times. I will make this in 3 steps.

1.- Always check the "Announcement" , "Events" and the "POST YOUR DATES, SERVERS AND TIMES, ETC" post/labels.

- [Announcements]: I do post a lot in this label. It can be to call everyone when an event is ready. To update something such as server change, or something else regarding the event. Also, I do post when the event finishes right there. Check this label often when an event is on, or just to stay tuned of what it is coming soon.

- [Events]: I do believe from now to then [9/5/2015] I will start to use that label to post future events. Probably not events that will be in the same day, not sure still. But events that for example will be on tomorrow, or between a day on the weekend. I will post there at what hour those start and when they do start check the [Announcements] or the [POST YOUR DATES, SERVERS AND TIME, ETC] post located in the "Discussions label" to stay tuned about what server we will be playing.

- [POST YOUR DATES, SERVERS AND TIME, ETC,]:

IF YOU USE IT FOR PUT AN EVENT: I recommend everyone to post your matches there, or something you want to do with the people at the group. For example you can say, lets frag at saturday!. So everyone needs to check this post to know if there will be any date to play. But usually if someone post something right there or I do. I will put an announcement asap as there is a new post.

IF I USE IT TO PUT AN EVENT: After I post an event, or an announcement that we will be playing. I will post in the default format that you had been seen where and at what hour we will be playing. You will see info right there about what server we will be playing on. At what hour it started, who I will be called right there. Important things like that.

2.- So after you saw this three labels/threads you are all set and you can stay tuned for future events. You can enter to the match with any Quake III Arena copy. Steam or non Steam. If for some reason you cannot detect the server, or it is lagging you a lot. Please tell me to select a new server and to put a new announcement with the server change request.

3.- Frag hard!


So, in resume. The easiest way to stay tuned about future events or quick matches will be:
1.- Check "Events" TAB
2.- Check "Announcements" TAB
3:- Check "POST YOUR DATES, SERVERS AND TIMES, ETC." Post under "Discussions" TAB.

In that way you cannot miss any Quake III Arena match.

EDIT: Also, as a quick addition to every post from now to then. Thanks to Kvaki to add this as well. I will start to post the IP of the server we will be playing on. To connect to the game it's pretty easy.

While in game do this:
1.- Open the game console with the ` key [U.S. Standard keyboard]
2.- Type Connect IP
3.- Reeplace the IP with the IP adress I will give to you.
Then, press enter and you should join to the game.

Don't forget or doubt to add any idea or suggestion if you think I missed something. This group is for everyone, so everyone can make any suggestion. I would appreciate that a lot.

I WILL BE POSTING SERVERS AS WE TEST THEM. IF YOU NEED ME OR ANYONE IN THE GROUP A SERVER, LET US KNOW.

To test a server from https://www.gametracker.com/search/q3/#search enter to Quake III Arena. Open the console with the ` key [US Keyboard] type: connect ip. Reeplace the ip with the ip of any server you wish. Some servers do not allow to join. For example some requiere password or some throw a connection error. You can even found something like this: "Using Protocol 43" or "Using Protocol 67" if that happens, it will more likely that it doesn't let us join. If you want to test servers to see how ping works, or to find one that fits your ping, let me know. I am up to test servers with anyone. Regards!

SERVER 1: tbp i0Q3 FFA - Veredict: Good for ping for U.S. players, but it crashes often in non US players.

SERVER 2: pingperfect DM - Veredict: Unable for U.S. players.

SERVER 3: {CROM-FFA} - Veredict: Good for U.S. players, but not for players outside the U.S. Connection Fails

SERVER 4: STATIC VOID BOGON 81.2.98.75:27965 - Veredict - The fuck was that. It is a really weird server but it is fun overall. Both U.S. and non U.S. players do get descent ping, which makes it more odd. I will save this server for a future event or something like that.

SERVER 5: q3dm6.kgts.ru 78.138.135.13:27960 - Veredict: Good server, descent ping for U.S. players, hosted in Russia. I do believe that European players will get a really good ping in that one, but I am not sure if that server changes maps.

If you want to make a suggestion, you get a trouble or something. You are free to add me. I do like to meet new people. So, you can count with me if you do have a problem.

Also, you can add the sub-admins and tell them your problems. Xiuocelotzin is on sometimes, but Veneno is on a lot. I am on a lot aswell. You can talk to any of us. In the case of adding Xiuocelotzin or Veneno, left them a message first in their profile before adding them. Post from where you come and in what do you need help with.

As an example:
Hello, I am part of the group QUAKE III ARENA [Lets Play Multiplayer] and I do need help with a situation that I do have, also I would like to make a suggestion.

Something like that will do it. In my case, if you do have a trouble or something, there is no need to post on my profile. Just add me.
