Fucking hackers, I hate hackers. Im sorry as well, not much we can do though. I feel your pain. When you ruin/waste everyone elses hard work/time, youre just an asshole, we shouldnt even call them hackers.

Thanks for the support guys, I totally understand the negativity, Who wouldnt be upset after hours and hours and nights of work gets hacked, deleted, bugged, etc? I know I'd be upset :)

As for the Azimuth mod, this isnt the first time we have had issues with that mod and people losing their azimuth blocks. Be careful of any modded (non-vanilla/default) blocks you use. Given that this is the second time this has happened, we may highly consider going more vanilla.

Hey guys, I do this for fun and I don't get paid for it. Its important to understand the economics and incentives at play (especially in the world and in your own life).

Server currently costs $70 a month to run, but donations have only covered about half the costs, so I'm actually losing money running the server. You guys are getting a service that costs money, for free. I get paid $0/hr to work on the server (as opposed to $20++/hr at work).

Currently the game is still in Alpha, and the tools we use are in Alpha, we are on the cutting edge, and its sharp, very sharp. You guys are basically free testers for Keen, Extender, Essentials, Mods, etc, that's what you've signed up for when buying an Alpha video game.

I believe a lot of people have an expectation that all of this stuff should work and work 24/7. That is not the reality, this game is very buggy, the tools are buggy, and the underlying code changes.

I'm basically waiting for Space Engineers and its various tools to get better / more stable, which they will in time. Just have to wait it out. I have a TON of ideas for the server, I have a couple pages of notes for a website.

For the time being, Monkey has been watching over things and Ive let him run things as he sees fit, I check about once a day to see if server is okay. (Its hard to find people you can trust, I trust Monkey)

Ive teamed up with Chocolate, another admin, he runs Gardens of Sajuuk and develops for a popular mod. We plan to merge servers in the future.

Hey Temo, /utility grids refresh does not work on our server and in fact causes ships to dissappear, I used to have a warning about it, but havent seen a report in awhile, its used on the Transcend and Fountain Core servers since they use special code. On our server it seems to cause ships to go to 0 0 0 and be invisible, Ive reported this to the developer of the tool we use.

Love all these mods guys, Have my eyes on a few of them :) We need to set up a Creative server time every week we can screw around with potential new mods

Drills
For the Hardcore server the drill limit used to be 1, since changing it to 3, people are staying at the ores for less time, they get in get out, I dont see Hardcore going above 3 drills any time soon, the purpose was to make mining difficult and centralized, to promote more PvP. I changed it to 3 from 1 because half the feedback I was getting was that people wanted more drills, so I added more and lowered refinery/assembler speeds x3.

Block and Grid limits
The block enforcement doesnt work right when grids are connected, it sees the whole thing as one grid. (We need programmers, if you or anyone you know is interested send them my way) The reason I set the limit to 2k was that two players Alludes and Lazareis both created 3.5k block ships with max gravity drives given limits and they would lag the entire server when they would move their ships. No one wanted gravity drives turned down, so I turned block limit down. Im open to limiting gravity drives and turning block limit back up. As for grid limits, more grids more lag, In the near future I will be adding donation perk to get higher grid limit.

Also I like youre idea of having all respawn ships as small ships, if youre having trouble with rammers I would suggest trying out heavy armor, I heard they bounce right off hahaha
