good ideas, but we've(at least electric i and mvp have) already been offclassing during preround and testing who we think are the various classes, the problem is both we have it on the group list who plays what, and its relatively easy to check groups they're subscribed to and figure out what classes they play, as i did with argo. as for calling up/down, its easiest for medic and engie to check scoreboard, since those classes are not usually shooting or moving to a position. trog and repulse need to work on decisiveness and esp repulse and gb's gamesense, we could have won this week but for failing to press advantage multiple times. thats something that comes with experience and practice as a team, something we havnt been doing. we DO need to practice various scenarios vs ourselves, what we did pregame was VERY helpful in showing what each player might expect in the first 30seconds of the match.

Once their heavy goes down, it would be our Heavy's responsibility to notice when their Heavy comes back up, and take into account how long it takes for that fatass to get to the fight.

If we notice that their demo sucks at sticky traps, we can definitely take advantage of that. If their medic sucks at positioning and always out of position, we can choose to try for picks more.

Once we figure out who's who on their team, we should each keep track of their counterpart on their other team. I mean beside the usual calls of "medic lit", etc. For example, if I'm MVP, I would keep an eye on the killfeed for their team's scout's name at all times. Once he goes down, (confirm with TAB just in case), MVP should be the one calling the time when the scout respawns. That, plus a rough estimate of how long it takes for each class to get back into the fight, will give us a really good idea how strong our advantage is. For example, Repulse is playing Heavy. He kills their demo, he'd still call that out. But if he notices the other team's heavy go down in the kill feed, he should call that out too. Cont'd ->

So now that's out of the way, I read the homework page that MVP assigned us. I have some suggestions for the team. Some might have been common sense for some people but I just thought of them now. So here goes.

During pre-round, we try to figure out which players are which class. and we try NOT to do that. Especially if we already have lots of practice on that map, we shouldn't reveal our hand, especially things like how good our scout is and ♥♥♥♥ like that. We might end up revealing things that we ourselves don't even know, like any weaknesses in team coordination. Other stuff will be pretty obvious like our engineer sucks ♥♥♥♥. So during pre-round, we should still play as a team of HL, but everyone off-classes. And we should pick these off-classes before things start so we don't fumble around trying to fill 1 of every class.

Obviously the opposite applies for the other team. If we notice their scout likes to flank instead of participate in team fights, call that out. Cont'd ->

I'd like to apologize for my conduct on Sunday, during our official game against SMG. My attitude was unprofessional and my raging was unsportmanlike. It definitely did not contribute to the team's morale during a difficult match. While I would like be able to say I wouldn't ever do it again, unfortunately I can't guarantee it since I have anger management issues. If I ever do it again, please say something in chat or Mumble. Hopefully that will calm me down a little. It is the team captains' decision that I will have to sit out for the next week, although apparently I am still welcomed and encouraged to come to the practice rounds.

Once again, sorry for raging last time, hopefully won't happen again.

When are you guys good to practice? Let me know your availabilities in either Steam Chat or on this wall. I'd like to get regular practice sessions going in case we don't get lucky and face a harder team next week.
