As a people's republic, our citizens deserve to have their voices heard in government. That is why I am announcing the beginning of democratic elections in the People's Republic for control of the National People's Congress.

Political factions will register and compete for votes in a nationwide election. The faction that receives the largest share of the vote becomes Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, a.k.a. Chairperson of NPC, or Congress Chairperson. The faction that receives the second largest share shall be awarded the position of Vice Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

More electoral rules will be drafted in the coming days to ensure the quality of our free and fair democratic process. So far, it must be noted that all factions must have the following requirements to be considered legal:
- Have a Communist or Socialist ideology
- Swear allegiance and loyalty to Mao Zedong and the People's Republic of China.
- Pledge to be active and successful in your role as an elected official.
