Okay so this is going to be decently lengthy but hopefully it helps some of the beginners out.

FRONTLINES

Makoa: I would recommend building either “Wrecker”, “Haven” or perhaps “Sprint”. “Wrecker” will help shred his shield while “Haven” will give some defence for surviving his pulls. “Sprint” is probably not your best option but it might help when avoiding his “Dredge Anchor”

Barik: Very basic, get your DPS to build “Wrecker” and just shred though his shield. Also focus his turrets they deal a lot of damage without you noticing.

Fernando: Just like Barik get maybe two people on your team to build “Wrecker” and shred though his shield.

Rukus: Just like Fernando and Barik build “Wrecker” and all should be swell.

ADDED NOTE: PIP WORKS EXTREMLY WELL AGAINST FRONTLINERS DUE TO HIS ULT.

DAMAGE

Bombking: Build “Blast Shield” and communicate with your team letting them know where he is at all times. Due to poppy bomb he can move from place to place very quickly. He is very squishy so if Makoa pulls him into a tight spot or he gets CC chained in any way he will most likely die.

Cassie: Build “Haven” and bully her. If she ult’s go on the defensive and play safe.

Drogoz: Build “Blast Shield” and have a Makoa pull him out of the sky using “Dredge Anchor”

Kinessa: Build “Haven” and have the Flanker on your team bully her the whole game.

Viktor: Build “Haven” and pay attention, Viktor is extremely good at dealing high amounts of damage from a-far and before you have time to realise what he’s doing or where he is you will be dead.

SUPPORT

HAVE SOMEONE BUILD CULTERISE (MABYE NOT IF AGAINST PIP AS HIS HEALING IS TERRIBLE IN COMPARISON TO GROVER AND GHRONK)

Pip: Just shut him down not much counter this little rat.

Ghronk: Destroy his totem cannot stress this enough, you will not win a 1v1 against Ghronk if his totem is up.

Grover: Get him away from his team. Makoa works really well for this or getting a flaker to bully him away from the objective.

FLAKERS

Andoxus: “Haven” works wonders against him. Also if you see him use his Reverse ability (hands go green and he becomes immune to damage) STOP firing! When he is channelling this ability the more damage you do to him the more he will do you.

Evie: Team calling is all you need to counter her. If you know where she is then you can deal with her easily.

Skye: “Illuminate” destroys Skye just build it. Also note her ult wont his you if you are not in line of sight with it (if the icon is yellow you are safe)

Buck: Bucks pretty bad right now in my opinion. You really don’t need a counter for him. One thing I would say is count his shots, once he runs out it takes him a long time to reload and you can easily capitalise on that.
