About us:

Pacific Whale Foundation was founded in 1980 by a small group of people who were determined to help save whales from extinction. Today, Pacific Whale Foundation has over 175 employees in Maui, Australia, Ecuador and the capability to tackle a wide range of issues, projects and programs in our ongoing efforts. We work tirelessly for our mission and share a common passion for protecting whales, dolphins, and the marine environment.

Over the past 32 years, Pacific Whale Foundation has taught nearly 4 million people about the marine conservation and has introduced educational whalewatching and ecotourism to Hawaii and Australia. We have become an international organization, with 32 years of ongoing research in Hawaii, Australia, Ecuador, Tonga, Japan, Chile, New Zealand (and other parts of the Pacific), and work with the international community to promote whale research and protection.

Pacific Whale Foundation offers Maui's and Hervey Bay's Top Rated Eco-Adventures. 100% of all profits from our eco-adventures help fund our research, conservation and education programs. Join us for Whale and Dolphin watching, Molokini, Lanai and Turtle Arches Snorkeling, Sunset and Dinner Cruises, along with specialty cruises such as Full Moon, Stargazing, Island Rhythms cruise with Marty Dread, and Private Charters.
