Serious Half Life 2 and 28 Weeks Later Role-Play

Dead Sector is a serious roleplaying server with a custom-built script that blends themes from genres of survival horror, post-apocalyptic science fiction with seizures of cyberpunk, and a flavor of pessimistic reality.

The year is 2477. Forty years ago, the Final War began. Waged between the Mega-Corporations, the religious fanatics, and the governments of the future age, it has since seen the destruction of colonized planets, and an end to civilized life as we knew it.

Those escaping the catastrophe found themselves on a planet called Proxima. An exo-planet that managed to survive the War, but nonetheless is engulfed in another destructive one. It is here the story begins - will the survivors manage to establish a foothold on the planet and build a home? Or will they give into the violence around them?
