If a game has a embargo or deadline we will tell it to you. Bust mostly not;) it's rare. Very rare.

Hi, my plan was to make reviews for the games I complete. I would start in my 22nd game (currently I have 20 completed) as its my favourite number. I have two games that are nearly completed which I expect to complete soon. Could you give me an example of a more detailed review?


I also have a few questions:

1. Would it be fine to use a secondary account to test the games?
2. How many games do you have available to test per week aprox?
3. Can you choose the game to test or will you send one automatically?
4. How many games can you test at a time (if you can choose them)?
5. How much time do you usually have to test the game? (depending on the game duration of course).
6. Could you give me a little more time to make a better review? I will be very busy this week, so I dont know if I'll be able to do it before 10th of June

Steam Curator requirements:

1. You must have at least two-three detailed reviews. Please post them as a link.
2. You must write with very good or perfect english.
3. You need some games in your library.
4. You need good PC specs.
5. You must be online often.
6. Please write your age in the application.
7. Never share our curations and review with other curator groups.
9. Of course the people need to like your reviews - you can increase your likes a little bit if you add english speaking friends.
10. As one of the fastest growing and biggest steam group-networks we do not just have friends; some people (small curators or founders of other giveaway/trader groups) will dislike you. You should know that.
11. Do not found your own Curator group. It's wasting your time and it's senseless. There are 70k small 1 man curator groups. No one of them has had success (out of the old youtubers expierenced ones. And they started before steam added the spam protection)

We don't write negative reviews or curations for Early Access games except in very, very rare cases. We will give all developers a fair chance to finish their game. And if we don't like the game, we'll just wait until the full release. Then you can write a negative review, if you don't think the game is good.

Im 18, English is my second language but I think I'm pretty good at it. I have a Lenovo Z50-70, over 300 games on my library and I'm online very often (5 days a week more or less) during the evenings (whole day during the weekends and more time during summer).

By the way, could I use a secondary account? In this account I like to get achievements and with the reviewed games (unless I 100% them) would bring my average completion rate down. Its an account with almost no games, would that be okay?

Edit: Im busy this week (until 10th of June), but after that I can review more games (and improve the quality and length of the reviews).

Edit 2: Forgot to mention that I would be interested in reviewing Platformers, Rogue-likes, Metroidvanias, Click and Point, Simulator (not all) and Puzzle games.

Letting the reviewers pick their own games to review from a list is a great idea.
I honestly lost track years ago of all the games I needed to playtest though that I had no interesting in, genre wise. Don't get me wrong, free games are great, but when you get an email at some obscure hour telling you you have 72hrs (from the time it was sent) to play through a game and give feedback on it, and then find out that it's a genre or gameplay still you can't stand, it's really hard to give positive feedback or non-jaded reviews.

My english is fluent aswell and tbh I'd enjoy writing reviews in english way more than doing it in german. If you say the games are "free" do you mean that I basically get a game gifted which needs to be reviewed? Then I would be down for that and will write my application tomorrow.
