Hey there. A friend poked me this direction, so here I am, applying for... curation post! :)

Can't say how good I really am, but I tend to write a bit in Eng (maybe somebody of you is on Blaeo - I'm writing there pretty regularly), I also use Word while writing a review to eliminate any typos or... yeah, mistakes. But still, my mothertongue is German, so I sometimes notice things I do differently because of that - like using waaaaaaaaaay more comma ;)

I'd like to be considered for this role please.
I used to be in a review group but the group got shut down. I really enjoyed my time there and took the role very seriously. I always completed my reviews on time and followed all the rules.
My favourite genres are point and click, hidden object games, and adventure/puzzle games.

I am online every day. I am 45 and work in IT. I do work 24/7 shifts so sometimes I work over night so I would be unavailable to play then. In a 5 week period I would be unavailable for 7 nights. I have plenty of days off in-between work though so finding time is really not an issue. You can see my statistics for game play. PC gaming is my main hobby and I really enjoy it. I would really like to start testing and writing reviews again. I miss it.
I'm happy to tailor the reviews to your specifications. If you want longer reviews I'm happy to do that, if you want shorter reviews that's cool too. I'm very flexible in my approach.

2) I've always had a tendency of writing in proper English while typing, so that won't be an issue.
3) I have far too many games, frankly.
4) My specs could be more powerful, so I can't play the huge AAA games that are multiple gigabytes large. Otherwise though, my computer can keep up with most titles.
5) Unless I'm taking a weekend trip somewhere, I'm online everyday. I do work a normal 40 hour work week, so if the requirements for being online are more stringent than that can allow for, I wouldn't be the right candidate.
6) I am 29 years old.

8) There is no 8!
9) I think people appreciate my reviews, as they tend to be more detailed. Not always - some games I write a much more concise summary for.
10) Not to be anti-social, but I don't have any strong feelings about someone I don't know disliking me.

Thinks about it, and look in my profile. 6 Years in Steam, more that 1000 games, a lot of new releases....you are losing here a good chance of a good reviewer. Trust me, and i only will give one time my offer for this application, sound rude, but is the truth.

Why i maked in spanish? Easy, because Steam have a BIG community that only speaks Spanish and they have rights to read in his/her language. I know 4 languages: Spanish, English, Russian and Swedish. Russian community is very strong too, the problem is in your offer you only allow in English, ok, but it is something bad and against another languages.

You warning saying that dont make a new curators group because you will fail...are you sure? Perhaps in English but NOT in another languages.

Think about it too.
