Amd = if you have less money and want for less money more power.
Just compare their power. ;) You will get the same performance if you buy an amd but for less money. The only problem = less updates and the support is slower.
NVidia is more expensive but the drivers will work without fail.
Once done your computer run's very smoothly and there are no game issues also Amd programs have otimiza setting where after each update you optimize all your games after an up date.
But after knowing you have to do this the card is good for price i paid for it.
A lot of the amd Cards are 150 to 250 cheaper than Nvidia and if you go though the stat's
You will find some great card's.
But if you want Stream line easy wont have to worrie about wiping old up date driver's than Nvidia.
1. AMD is cheaper and has equivelent power, at the cost of slower support and drivers acting silly
2. Nvidia is more expensive for the power you get, but support is a non-issue and drivers seem to work 98 percent of the time.
There is a few odd ball cases where a game or application's code doesn't like a particular GPU, but that is pretty rare. Most publishers worth thier salt will make a work around or at least point you towards one.
Good luck in your choice!
