A Professional Gaming Team

FnaticMSI is a professional Electronic Sports team, consisting of players from across the globe who all make a living through competing in video game tournaments. The FnaticMSI Team won the ESPORTS TEAM OF THE YEAR AWARD 2006 and 2009. We remain in the esports history books for the unprecedented 6 major titles won by our Counter-Strike division throughout 2009.

The FnaticMSI Team is an ambitious and already highly successful gaming organization; with registered offices in Australia and the United Kingdom (London) with a global reach. The FnaticMSI Team is currently supporting five highly successful squads in StarCraft 2, Heroes of Newerth, Call of Duty 4, Quake Live, and Counter-Strike. We have established ourself as a vibrant, well coordinated outfit with a clear vision for the future of competitive electronic sports, commonly referred to as "esports". The FnaticMSI Team was founded by Sam Mathews with the help of Joris Van Laerhoven and Anne Mathews.

Xizt leaves Fnatic to join NiP in CS:GO

Team captain and in-game leader Richard "Xizt" Landström has decided to step down from Fnatic and competitive Counter-Strike 1.6 to join the newly reformed Ninjas in Pyjamas team in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

Friis is HLTV.org's DreamHack Winter MVP

DreamHack is undoubtedly Fnatic’s biggest event each year. With the most teams in attendance and a stellar record across the board, DreamHack is very special to Fnatic. This years MSI BEAT IT DreamHack Winter event was no different as the Counter-Strike team reclaimed their title as the top team to beat the moment taking first place.

A major part of that victory was Michael ‘Friis’ Jørgensen who was recently voted in by fans and experts over at HLTV.org as the Most Valuable Player at DreamHack! We would like to congratulate Michael on winning such a prestigious award and we cannot wait to see him, and the rest of the team, perform well in 2012.

Sorry, since I'm not in Fnatic anymore I barely visit this page, so I don't updat e it often either. Sorry about that again! I updated the line-up and will try to keep posting CS news.
