GET ON! Old School Style! Noobs welcome!

Ever played online and have to deal with getting kicked or screamed at for screwing up because you were just starting out or ended up with a group of self-important pricks?

Ever played online and had your ears bleed because some 8 year old punk was taunting and spouting f-bombs every other word thinking it makes him cool? (Don't get me wrong, we all drop the f-bomb... Frequency usually correlated with # of beers consumed. Especially Jack. XD )

Don't get to play a whole lot because you have a real job, a family or whatever?

Look no further!

We are a small group consisting of (mostly) 30+ somethings from the old school style of Tac Ops/Counterstrike Leagues/Diablo who just want to have a good time. We generally prefer similar ages but aren't restrictive.

Play style:
Laid back and easy going. We have fun whether we win or lose! No hardcores, no negativity. Bring your beer and shots! Lots of laughs. Focus on Co-op.

Play times:
North America - Friday and Saturday nights + NA Holidays mostly.

If you want to know where the term "OTCH" comes from you'll have to ask EvILGUMBI in game. ;)

Side note: We have a thing for "your mom" jokes. We said we were old, not mature.

RPG interest check?

Figured this is the easiest way to get to everyone, yeah?

Planning on something via a play-by-post format. Not my favorite format *but* putting together weekend night sessions didn't exactly work out. Basically the idea is that anyone who wants in can probably check e-mails and maybe make comments and whatnot during the week.

I've got an itch for Rogue Trader; it's a Warhammer 40k RPG but really doesn't have to rely too much on established fluff. (Which as an aside is my preference anyway - the fluff has gone from awesomely dumb to stupidly dumb.) Y'all don't need to know much except there'll be a ship (or two) and if you saw Event Horizon you know how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun space travel can be! Not to mention profit, exploration, intrigue and more profit.

Mechanically it isn't too bad though its showing its age, although I'll be "updating" some of the combat rules to more recent variants but I ain't getting into that here.

Whole point of me posting this is to see if there's enough interest - hit me up in the comments, message me or poke at my gmail.

As a note, if I end up with an absolute butt-load of people involved, I can probably do something crazy with it. WE SHALL SEE.

Dark Souls Weekends anyone?

OK, so like I totally need to play Dark Souls II co-op, ALL the way through.. This is my official cry for help! XD

First looking for one or two people to commit to blocking off some time on weekends to play together. Likely anywhere from 2 hours minimum to 6+ blocks. Both DS and DS II are like around 60 hours each, especially for first playthrough. If we do DS (ONE), it will probably be faster as I have already played the ♥♥♥♥ out of it. XD

Second, I'd be willing to play through Dark Souls (ONE) with said person(s) first if they wanted to.

Third, due to kids/family, we'll need to have a schedule-ish before each session. Probably a week of warning so I can make sure I have the block cleared is good.

Fourth, I'd like to keep it consistent. Weekly or bi-weekly would be awesome!

Fifth, I'd be willing to do DS weekends peppered in. Like I'll send the kids/wife to the in-laws for the weekend while DS happens around the clock except for sleep and breaks of MWO / RL / Warface / whatever.

Anyone interested??? XD
